Ian Breakwell is a painter. For the last twenty years he has kept a diary. The voice of the diary is a personal one- it starts with everyday experience. Ian Breakwell is an artist, video maker, television performer and diarist. Born in Derbyshire, he lives and writes in Smithfield, London. His paintings, drawings and prints hang in many public collections including the Tate gallery. His films and videotapes have been shown at festivals around the world.
